Berloni caters to these needs in a concrete way, first and foremost, all kitchens, baths, and cabinetry are backed by a 5-year warranty that protects the rights of its customers and our clients beyond the limits established by law.
Quality plays such a crucial role in our company philosophy that we have decided to perform most manufacturing jobs under our own roof. Having control of the raw materials through production means less waste. This in-house manufacturing has also allowed us to:
- machine raw materials that have a humidity percentage between 9% and 13% to prevent off-gassing
- use laminates that are scratch proof, and impregnated with water-repellant resins
- manufacture ecological chipboard of the lowest formaldehyde dispersion type (E1)
- The hinges, wall unit fasteners and drawer runners are made to last 100,000 opening cycles
Berloni was the FIRST Italian manufacturer to obtain product certification in accordance with the European Union UNI EN 1153 standard (a safety management system). Our products and manufacturing have been certified in conformity with the European standard defining safety requirements and undergo ongoing stringent inspections in order to ensure utmost safety. Berloni has also received ongoing certification of its quality system according to UNI EN ISO 9002 standard (a quality management system).
Berloni strives to meet or exceed the environmental standards of the European Union which are higher than that of the United States.:
- Ecological chipboard used to make component parts has low Formaldehyde dispersion (E1).
- Chipboard for all worktops is waterproofed (V100).
- All cabinets are sealed with edge banding, no raw edges are exposed, and minimal holes are drilled for low emissions.
- As of September 2007 all lacquers sprayed and applied to cabinetry will be water based product.
- All scraps are recycled into new product or used to heat the factory.
