How We Work
la Dimora is open to both the public and the trade, we work directly with designers and architects, as well as with individual home owners. We offer complete kitchen and bath design services to those homeowners who have not or do not want to hire a designer. Our showroom includes several kitchen displays, as well as a "door menu" to provide some examples of our door styles/colors and the functions that are offered.
An initial meeting with a new client starts the process, This design conslutation is FREE. After the meeting we spend time working up a preliminary plan for the project that includes a floor plan, a 3D drawing of the plan, and a price estimate. Once this plan meets the client’s expectations, and wishes to continue with further planning and discussions, we require a $1000.00 deposit that will be applied against the future cabinetry order. Further meetings take place, including a visit to your home to take detailed dimensions. As part of the design process, we help you select your cabinets, their interior fittings, countertops, and appliances morphing the plan to fit your individual needs and desires. This process ensures that the client gets everything they want from their kitchen.
Once the plan is finalized and the design is ready, a 50% deposit plus tax (minus the $1000.00 deposit) is charged and the order goes into production in Pesaro, Italy. Actual manufacturing of the order usually takes about 3 weeks to produce to your specifications. Shipping from Italy to the US can take an additional 9 to 12 weeks, for the order to arrive at your doorstep, which is when the remainder of the cost is collected. If you are trying to meet a specific timeline, we can accommodate this by planning the order/production dates, and shipping times, or we can arrange storage of your order in the local area for an additional charge.
Installation can be provided by one of our experienced contracting partners. The cost of installation is determined on an individual basis depending on scale of project, number of cabinets, and the number of visits required to complete the project. We are in close communication with our contracting partners during the installation process to assist with the process and to ensure any challenge with the process is satisfactorily resolved.
